- What is Nebula?
Nebula is a nation-wide analog design contest conducted by Cosmic Circuits Pvt. Ltd. to promote interest in analog design among EE students in Indian Universities. Details on its conception are available here. - Who is eligible for the contest?
Any student enrolled into an Indian University is eligible for the contest. For more details, please refer to the Terms & Conditions section here - How can I register for the contest?
You can register for the contest by filling out the on-line registration form available here. Once you submit the form, you will receive an e-mail confirming your registration and bearing your login details. - Do I have to pay a registration fee?
No. Registration for Nebula'11 is completely free of charge. - When does the contest start?
Nebula'11 begins on 1st of October with the Planetary stage. - What is the prize money?
Prize money will be as follows :1st Prize : Rs. 30,000
2nd Prize : Rs. 20,000
3rd Prize : Rs. 10,000 - I participated in Nebula'10. Can I still register?
Yes, you are welcome to register for this edition. Just make sure you check the "I participated in Nebula'10" box during registration. - If I qualify for the Stellar Nursery, will I be provided accommodation in Bangalore? Will my travel expenses be reimbursed?
Yes, all the 20 contestants reaching the Stellar Nursery will be provided accommodation in Bangalore. To-and-fro train fare will be reimbursed up to a maximum of Rs. 2,000. - Will the design contest involve using any EDA tools?
No. The entire contest will be on paper-based design. The idea is to place all the contestants on a common platform, irrespective of the infrastructure available in their college. - How long will be the on-line test in the Planetary Stage? How many attempts are allowed?,
The on-line test will be for 45 minutes. Each contestant is allowed only one attempt unless he/she faces a technical problem while taking the test. - What should I do if I face a technical problem like network disconnection while taking the on-line test?
You should immediately report the problem to nebula@cosmiccircuits.com within 24 Hrs. We will allow a second attempt after confirming the issue from our server logs. However, please note that we cannot entertain more than one such request from each contestant.
