Serial-transmission applications such as DDR require multiple phases of a clock to be available for optimum sampling. Cosmic’s DLL offering is aimed at addressing this need. The DLLs can accept a wide-range of input frequencies, and provide the necessary phases for optimum sampling. Cosmic also offers crystal-replacement silicon oscillators that can achieve +/-2% accuracy. These IPs can be used in lieu of external crystals and save both BOM and PCB real-estate.
